The following two recently published books should be of interest to Agri-Fooders. The Food Wars, by Walden Bello, and Food Rebellions: Crisis and the Hunger for Justice, by Eric Holt-Giminez and Raj Patel with Annie Shattuck, both discuss the global food crisis.

In August 2009, the Australian Conservation Foundation released Paddock to Plate: Policy Propositions for Sustaining Food and Farming Systems, the second and final phase of the Future Food and Farming project, commissioned by the ACF with funding from the William Buckland Foundation and undertaken by Andrew Campbell of Triple Helix Consulting. In June 2009, The University of Otago convened the 44th Annual Foreign Policy School on the topic of Dimensions of the Global Food Crisis. The event was coordinated by agri-fooders Prof Hugh Campbell and Dr Chris Rosin. Click here for the media release.
